Situated in the bustling town of Tunbridge Wells, The Black Pig has recently re-opened its doors under new ownership. Peter Brennan took over at The Black Pig, Tunbridge Wells in April 2018. He has since given the bar and restaurant area a full makeover – creating a fresh and modern, yet relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Peter is the Head Chef and has worked at various restaurants around Kent, Suffolk and even New York. He bought his first pub 6years ago in Meopham, Kent and is now excited to be running The Black Pig – the new ‘go to’ place to eat in Tunbridge Wells.
With a passion for great quality food that is hard to match, Peter has worked closely with his team of Chefs to source the best local suppliers and produce varied and interesting menus that focus on delicious, high quality, seasonal dishes. Everything from the fresh bread to the chutneys is homemade and the smell from the kitchen every morning, as the bread is baking for the day, is mouth-watering!
Serving food all day, The Black Pig has several menus available, ranging from a Lunch and Light Bites Menu, where you can pop in on your lunch break to enjoy a quick light lunch to a full A La Carte Menu, with a great choice of Starters, Mains and Deserts to choose from. Or why not pop in on a Sunday for a traditional Sunday Roast, which has already been quoted by some as ‘the best roast in Tunbridge Wells’.
Whether you’re looking for a meal in the cosy Dining Room, something a little more relaxed where you can sit in front of the log fire and read the paper with a pint of Harveys in the bar area, or a cold glass of wine in the suntrap ‘Secret Garden’ – The Black Pig has the answer and Peter and his team look forward to welcoming you soon.
